Rippa Rugby with the Buller Team!

 On Friday we were super lucky to have some of the members of our awesome Buller Rugby Team come along and play some Rippa Rugby with Room 12 (and a few imports from Room 14!).  It was a great afternoon and we had lots of fun!

Te Whare Tapa Wha

 Room 12 made some awesome little whare that represent Te Whare Tapa Wha.

Teacher Only Day

 There is no school for children on Monday 12th September as it is a Teacher Only Day.  Teachers will be travelling down to the Arahura Marae for training.  School opens again on Tuesday.

Painting!

 At the moment we are busy learning about Wassily Kandinsky and how he used shape and colour to express emotions.  It's been super interesting and fits very nicely with our focus on Te Whare Tapa Wha unit of work.

In Art we were learning to use the primary colours to mix other colours.
