Today in Room 12 we mixed some common kitchen substances and observed what happened. We had to say if they were soluble or insoluble. It was a lot of fun!

Kahurangi Dance Company Performance
Today we were treated to a really special performance from the Kahurangi Dance Company. It was tumeke/amazing!
Te Hana's Toilet Experiment :)
Te Hana bought her cool science kit to school to share with us. We thought it looked super fun! Thanks T for sharing it with us.
Experiment #2 Making Honeycomb
We continued to experiment with mixing substances during the week and were lucky enough to have the help of Mr Anderson and Katie's Mum Abbey who helped us make honeycomb. We will be looking at the science behind the fun early next week.

This week we have had ALOT of fun completing the first of our science experiments. First we made Oobleck. Ask the children to tell you where the name Oobleck comes from (very interesting fact).
