Swimming!
Room 12 are very lucky to have been chosen for the Swim Safe Programme run by the Solid Energy Centre. We will begin next week so please remember to bring your togs and towel (and goggles if you need them). Any child who does not bring their gear will have to stay back at school and do work.
You may want a bit of a snack for the end of the day and definitely a warm jacket/fleece to put on after swimming. As the weather is so unsettled at the moment we have ordered a bus to transport them there and back. The cost for this is $10 per child. Happy swimming everyone!

Science Experiments...
We have been working with a buddy on the Chrome Books to find kitchen chemistry experiments to carry out at school. Below are Izabelle, Mikah and Sienna carrying out their experiment "What makes the best SLIME?"

Thank you to all those parents who came along and helped out with transport today at the "Hands Around the Hospital Protest". We certainly did have the luck of the Irish with the weather!

Baking Bread with Mrs Russ
Today we were very lucky to have Aliana's Mum, Lana Russ and Katie's Mum Abby, come in and show the children how to bake bread. We have been learning about how Yeast makes bread rise. Thankfully we didn't set off the smoke detectors! We all agreed that it was delicious!
