In class we have been learning the song "The Homework Blues". Try practicing it at home!
Te Reo Maori
This week we have been learning how to ask what the weather is like and how to answer. We did some pictures to show our answers.
Star of the Week!
Lachie is our Star of the Week this week for trying hard to complete all his work (even doing it in his own time!) You are showing a great commitment to learning Lachie! Tumeke!

All of these fantastic children received special awards for participating in the holiday reading programme. Well done guys!
Crazy Hair Day!
A big thank you to all the children who brought along their donation for the Westpac Helicopter Appeal. It was alot of fun and we raised $288 for them. There were some very crazy hair do's and our class prize went to Sophie Russ for her amazing hair.

Boats Boats Boats!
A big thank you to the wonderful parents who helped transport and look after Room 12 on Tuesday at the pool.
We had a wonderful time testing our boats, unfortunately not all of them stood up to the conditions.
Great work Ayla and Sophie who were the overall winners and well done to all the rest of the children for their hard work.

Crazy Hair Day!
Next Friday the school will be having a Crazy Hair Day to help raise fund for the Westpac Helicopter. Children are to wear normal school uniform and just dress up their hair. Gold coin donation would be much appreciated!
Swimming on Tuesday!
Thankfully we have enough parents to help on Tuesday morning. We plan to leave school at 11.15 to enter the pool at 11.30 and be back in time for lunch. The boats look great and we can't wait to test them!
