Awards Week 6

 Isabella made good use of her time during wet playtime by creating a picture with the stencils.  Tumeke Isabella!

P.A.T time!

 This week we have been busy doing our P.A.T tests.  These are progressive achievement tests that are completed nationwide at the beginning and end of each school year.  It helps teachers to assess where your child is at and what their learning needs are.  It is also a great way to introduce the children to the idea of formal testing that takes place at high school.

Aki got the top score in our addition/subtraction basic facts test this week.  Awesome stuff Aki!

Golden Time!

 On Friday to reward the children for working very hard in class all week, we had some "Golden Time".  This is where the children are in small groups to complete fun co-operative activities.
