Free School Lunches!
Awesome news... free school lunches provided to all children at Westport South School! Yum! Keep checking the Westport South School facebook page for updates on how this is working in our school.
Term 2...
Just a heads up to everyone that the builders will probably still be working on our new doors so Room 12 will be moving to the Hall for the first week of term. Don't panic. Just bring your morning tea to the Hall. Your bags will still be fine in the Room 12 bag area.
Sport Tasman
Sala from Sport Tasman has also been coming in and doing skills sessions with us. We have been honing our cricket skills... HOWZAT!!!
Sports with Miss Ward
Most Wednesday afternoons Room 12 get to go out for Physical Education with Miss Ward. We have been doing a lot of work on improving our small ball skills. Next term we will be focusing on Winter Sports skills like soccer and mini-ball.
Reef's Trophy
Reef brought his sailing trophy to school to show the kids. What a wonderful achievement for you! Well done.
