As part of our topic in Term 2 we were learning about the arrival of early Maori to NZ. We made contact with Whaia Lara at North School. She teaches in the Eke Panuku class where the children learn in both English and Maori. It was an amazing visit and we had a great time getting to know the kids there. We hope to return the favour later in the year.

El Grego!
Our school was lucky to have the magician El Grego perform his show for us. We loved seeing all his parrots and learning about how we can be kind and caring people.
Music with Jaqui
Every Wednesday afternoon we have been having music lessons with Jacqui. She has been teaching us how to recognise musical notes and how to keep time (as well as some fun playing instruments).
