Painting

 We will be painting in Room 12 on Friday morning (2/9/22).  Please bring an old t-shirt so your school clothes don't get paint on them.

Also, bring along egg cartons for paint to go into.

Swimming

 Remember that there is swimming every Thursday afternoon until the end of Term!  You might like to bring along an extra snack for when you get back.

Wassily Kandinsky

 Room 12 have been learning about the artist Wassily Kandinsky as part of our Tapa Whare Te Wha unit.  Here is a little clip about him for your information.

3D Maths

Over the last couple of weeks the Circles Maths group has been learning about 3D shapes.  They had lots of fun making pyramids and rectangular prism's in the staffroom.  Tumeke guys!

Star of the Week!

The Star of the Week this week is Millie Lawrie.  This is for her awesome attitude to writing!  Keep up the hard mahi Millie!

Sport Taman... supporting our growing tinana's!

 Each week we have a lesson with Chole from Sport Tasman.  This week we were learning how to do lay-ups in the hall.  Thanks Mr A for buying the right sized hoop for us to practice on!

Te Whare Tapa Wha

 Last Friday Whaia Richelle came to visit Room 12 to talk to us about Houora and Te Whare Tapa Wha.  We talked about all the ways that we need to care for ourselves.  We will be learning more at school as part of our topic "Energy and Me".
