Questions!
This week we have been trying to ask questions about the books we are reading. Here are some questions that the Marvelous Monkey Reading Group came up with.
Fabulous Writing!
Stella wrote a fantastic story about her Mum and Kane's wedding day. They got married at the same place that we visited on our class camp! Tumeke Stella!

Scary Monsters...
Today one of the writing groups had to do dictation. This is where the teacher reads to you and you write what you hear. We drew a picture of our monsters afterwards.
Cricket
We played a game of diamond cricket this afternoon. On Saturday mornings you can go to free cricket lessons at the Pulse Energy Centre. You don't even have to sign up, just turn up on the day! Gunnraj and Blake went on the weekend, they loved it and its FREE!

Class Captains
Last week as part of our Statistics Unit the children had to vote for two students to represent the class as Class Captains. They had to vote for people that they thought would be responsible leaders. Well done to Amika and Ella who won a tightly contested vote!
