Rippa Rugby Vid

Rippa Rugby!

Room 12 met with Mr Manawatu today to play a game of Rippa Rugby.  It was lots of fun and a real tri-fest!  Next term we will be having four more skills sessions with Mr Manawatu.  So excited!  And thanks to Morris for being our photographer!

Making Time with Conrad and Teresa...

Check out Conrad's cool plane he made with Teresa!

Week 8 Award Winners!

Well done to Blair, Jessica and Regan who have all received awards this week.  Tumeke!
We are really impressed with how hard you are working in Room 12 Kieran!  Keep up the great effort.

Porsha's Magnetic Race Track

This week in reading Porsha's group read an interesting book about how to make a magnetic car.  She then went home and designed her own one.  Top marks for using your initiative Porsha!

Electric Cars

As part of our Sustainability theme, Mrs Campey arranged for her cousin Mark to bring in three electric cars to show the children.  We loved the Tesla the best because it could dance!  They were travelling from Bluff to Cape Reinga to show them off.

Te Reo Maori

On Friday afternoon (Week 7), Room 12 went for a walk to complete a traffic survey.  All the names were in Maori which is helping us to learn the colour names.  It was fun!

Week 7 Award Winners!

Well done Olivia, our computer expert!

Liam is kind and caring towards others.

Sophie, Felix and Ayla have all impressed with their hard work in Room 12 this week.

The Godwit

Yesterday Mrs Hattersly read us this book...

Afterwards we made our own Godwits.  We highly recommend this book!

High Jump with Mrs Rout

A big thank you to Mrs Rout for taking the time to come and teach us how to do the High Jump safely and with the correct scissor technique.  We had fun and learnt a lot!

Mindful Eating...

It didn't make much noise!

Ayla thought it looked a bit like stained glass.

I really don't think Kade liked the taste!

Everyone had a taste.
We practiced mindful eating in class.  We had use all our senses before tasting.  Not quite sure if Room 12 loved the taste though!
