Level 3 Information

Good morning team!
I am sure that a lot of you (and your families) have been following news of Alert Levels in NZ.
As you will be aware, as a country, we are moving to Alert Level 3 next Monday, 27 April, at 11.59pm.
Tuesday, 28 April, is a Teacher Only Day. On Wednesday, 29 April, school will be open for students who NEED to attend.
Please be fully aware that it is encouraged (firmly) that where possible students should stay at home and learn via distance (our Google Classroom/R12 Blog) whilst the country is in Alert Level 3. At this stage students who have parents / caregivers who need to work can come to school (if the family has no other option – remember: our bubbles can slightly increase to include other family members. E.g. grandparents).
Between now and the end of the week, our school needs to work out how many of our students need to be at school from next Wednesday, 29 April. Alert Level 3 will (at this stage) last for two weeks.
If this discussion has happened in your house and you are ABSOLUTELY SURE of your families decision please either message me via facebook, indicate on our Stream Page in Google Classroom, email at jenny.c@westportsouth.school.nz or text me on 02108253854.
This should help us save time. If we do not hear from you, your family will receive a phone call in the near future.
Kind regards
Jennifer Clementson
